The award winning vocalist, Joe Bourne is well known in European circles for
what he has achieved in the popular, light music genre.
However the roots of this talented singer / entertainer are anchored deeply in the Jazz, blues and spiritual music.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the singer/ entertainer, Joe Bourne was inspired by many of
the big names of Jazz that toured the Boston area.

Whether it's a swinging rendition of the fun
song Goody Goody, Oscar Brown's philosophical "Dhat Dher" the romantic ballad of
Earl Garner's "Misty", Duke Ellington's "Satin Doll", a gut wrenching "Stormy Monday Blues",
a cool Bosa Nova, or his special tribute to the great Nat King Cole, Joe, who has been influenced
by the likes of Lou Rawls, Billy Eckstine, Arthur Prysock, and Nat King Cole always seems to capture
the audience with his on style and warm mellifluous light baritone, voice and his dynamic showmanship..
While working in Europe for several years, he performed in many Radio and TV programs and jazz events such as
The American Song Book concert series, Amsterdam / The Jazz Gala for the Direct Marketing Association,
Dusseldorf Germany / The Spring concert series for the Friedricstadt Palace, Berlin, German /
The New Years Jazz Gala, The Hague / Jazz at Christofori in Amsterdam, / Swinging Scheveningen, /
Jazz Behind the Beach Zandvoort, / Nick Vollebrechts Cafe in Naarden / Jazz Festival, Wijk by Duurstede /
The Big Band Festival in Eindhoven /The Swing Society in the Sonesta Hotel / Den Haag /The Rijnmond Jazz
Gala 1998 in Rotterdam,/ the Lions Club Summer Swing Festival, Maassluis / Kiwanis Club Jazz,Venray, /
The Harlem jazz festival 1995 and 1999 / The Fourth of July festival in Berlin, Germany with Andreas Frank
and his orchestra in the opening program for Jessye Norman / a unique performance of Gershwin's Porgy and
Bess presented in the Leiden theater, during the Leiden, Holland Jazz week with a Big Band and Choir.

In addition, Joe has shared the stage as opening act for Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Nina Simone,
Dionne Warwick and several other Jazz and popular music greats.
Joe Bourne has worked with many top American and European musicians such as: The Ted Howe trio, The Beets Brothers Trio,
Cor Bakker combo, Dem Kesber, Pete Noordijk, Marcel van Engelen, Combo Patrick van Helsdingen, Trio Herman Schoonderwald,
Robbie Agerbeek Trio, Lex Jasper Trio, Dolf de Vries Combo, Combo Frits Kaatee, Harry Verbeke Quartet, Bernard Berkhout
and his Swing Mates, Eric Timmerman, Cess Slinger, Rene van Beeck and the Andreas Frank Orchestra, Berlin.The Rosa
King Band, The AVRO Skymaster's Big Band,The VARA Radio Big Band, The Bridge Big Band, The Midland Big Band, and
the Frits Landebergen Big Band.

award presented by The Bund Botschafter Ohne Grenzen. and the Kunstler des Jahres
(Artist of the Year award) both for Top class entertainment in Germany. The Silver Orpheus
in Bulgaria and the Jimmy Kennedy award in Ireland both for his special
presentation of Gershwin's "Summertime".
Joe Bourne may be contracted as guest artist to perform with your house musicians or with his
own musical backing, "The Joe Bourne Point Of View" . Musical accompaniment consisting of
Vocal with Piano, Vocal with trio, quartet, quintet or Big Band.
After 25 years of Europe being his home base, Joe has relocated his base of operations to sunny Tucson, Arizona.
He continues to deliver his talents to European shores while he answers the call for his special brand
of vocal entertainment throughout other parts of the globe.

with the Joe Bourne Point of view (quartet) in Green Valley Arizona, A tribute to Nat King Cole" in
the Kerr theater, Scottsdale Arizona plus an ongoing performance at Fuego American southwestern
restaurant in Tucson, AZ.
